Hockey India announced the 24-member Indian Men's Hockey Team that will participate in the 100th Anniversary Spanish Hockey Federation International Tournament to be held in Terrasa, Spain from 25th to 30th July. Before the Spanish tour, Indian Men's Hockey Team Captain Harmanpreet Singh and Chief Coach Craig Fulton on Friday, said in a virtual press meet that their main goal is to achieve gold, to create a cohesive unit that can compete at the highest level.

When asked about the Paddy Upton's arrival in the deam during a virtual press conference, Fulton said, "We've had really good training sessions, but we have also had a really good guest come and join us Paddy Upton. I'm sure a lot of, you know who he is and his work with Indian cricket and obviously his corporate work in India and around the world with high performance, teams, individuals, and companies."

The Chief Coach added, "And we have had a really good staff session, we've had some good individual sessions, and Paddy addressed the team this week, and yeah identifying a new Indian way of how better can we do things better than what we've done them up to this point."

Meanwhile, Harmanpreet Singh, who is set to lead the Indian team in the Spain tour, share his thoughts with Sportz Point, "Whoever is getting the opportunity is trying to do his best. The good thing is that the youngster who is coming is doing well, this thing will help in the Asian Games. Our main target is to push each other so that when the group is announced the whole group gets help. All the youngsters are giving their best. So we have a chance before the Asian Games."

Speaking about being the top scorer of the pro league Harmanpreet said, "The individual goals that I have are team goals, there are no individual goals. What we are achieving, we are achieving because of the team."
