Commonwealth Games 2022: Indian Men's and Women's Hockey team to face Ghana in their opening match

Indian men's and women's hockey teams will open their campaigns against Ghana in their opening match of the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2022. The tournament to begins on 28 July in Birmingham.

The women's hockey team will begin their journey in Commonwealth Games 2022 on 29 July against Ghana whereas the men's team will compete against the same rivals on 31 July. The women's team will be playing in Pool A alongside Wales, England, and Canada after their match with Ghana. Besides, the 2-time silver medalist men's team will face the same competitors as that of the women's team in Pool B.

The women's semi-final clashes will take place on 5 August, whereas the men's semi-final will occur on 6 August. Lastly, the finals of the women's team and men's team are scheduled for 7 August and 8 August respectively.
