Indian star badminton player PV Sindhu is continuing her successful form at the Tokyo Olympics. The Rio Olympic Silver medalist has won her second game on Wednesday. PV Sindhu won 2-0 against Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong in a Group J badminton match. With this victory, Sindhu confirmed her place in womenโ€™s singles Round of 16.

Although the Indian badminton ace made it look like a very easy match, Cheung put a great effort on the court. Sindhu won 2-0 against Cheung Ngan Yi of Hong Kong in a Group J badminton match. As a result, she took medal hopes for India in badminton a step closer. Sindhuโ€™s flawless run till now confirmed her place in the Tokyo Olympics pre-quarterfinals or usually known as Round of 16.

The Hyderabad player looks super confident and gave her best against Cheung Ngan Yi. Sindhu won the match with the statistics 21-9 and 21-16 against the Hongkong player. Sindhu put up a dominant display in both the group stage matches and will now face Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark. The Indian shuttler has a 4-1 head-to-head record in 5 meetings against the Denmark shuttler. In their last meeting in Swiss Open 2021, Sindhu hammered Mia in straight games.
