Olympic 2020 : Day 9 Schedule For India And Key Matches

Checkout India's full schedule and key matches on Day 9 of Olympic 2020. Pooja Rani will be playing her Quarter Final match of Olympic 2020. Moreover Atanu Das will be also playing his 1/8 Eliminations on day 9.

Though the first six days of Tokyo Olympic 2020 was not that good for team India. They faces back to back defeats after Mirabai Chanu wins silver in 49-kg weightlifting, bags India's first medal at Olympics 2020.  But India started a complete dominance from day 7 of Olympic 2020. That dominance has also continued to day 8 of Olympic 2020. Though India looses in women's 25m pistol event and Simranjit Kaur fails to qualify to the next round. Meanwhile, Lovlina Borgohain wins her quarter final game. However, she assures herself a medal in her Olympic debut. Firstly, Indian women's Hockey team comes back into winning against Ireland. Secondly, P.V Sindhu won straight two sets to qualify for the Semi Finals.

However, Deepika Kumari lost against Korea and knocked out from women's individual event. The day was not good for the athlets of India. Meanwhile, all the athlets finishes at 7th position in their individual events.

After a total of 8 days, India has only secured a Silver medal. Meanwhile, there lies a big day 9 for India contingent as we look into India's Day 9 schedule of Tokyo Olympic 2020 and some key matches.
