Coming to bat first, England amassed 293/8, and Danni Wyatt made the humongous contribution of 129 runs in 125 deliveries. Danni succeeded in surpassing the ton and made 129 runs due to multiple lifelines in between the match. South Africa misfielded quite a few times and dropped catches.

While Wyatt spoke with her bat, Sophie Eccelstone destructed South Africa's batting lineup, especially the middle and lower order with a spellbound figure of 6/36. In fact, this is her best ODI bowling figure and also the best in this year's World Cup.
