A recent research paper by SevenJackpots dedicated to analysing online casino gaming preferences and trends in present-day India has revealed that 9 out of the 22 most popular casino games ranked by turnovers are in fact games of online roulette.
The undisputed leader among all online casino games is “Lightning Roulette” which has a contribution of 15.68 per cent of the whole operator turnover and a massive 68.4 per cent of the total turnovers generated by more than 50 games in the roulette category.
Other notable roulette titles in the chart include “XXXTreme Lightning Roulette”, “Instant Roulette”, and “Speed Auto Roulette”, which have even increased their overall turnover shares towards the end of the observed period of January to October 2022.
Game shows are the second most represented game category in the chart with four titles, baccarat games have two titles, and all other game categories that have found a place in the Top 22 Games by Turnover chart are represented by just one title each.

Game Shows Outperform Roulette in Generated Turnovers
When looking at the turnovers generated by each online casino gaming category, however, game shows show up as the top genre with a contribution of 34.48 per cent.
Thus, game shows are outperforming roulette titles which take the second position with a turnover share of 22.91 per cent.
Online casino game shows are an innovative genre based on familiar game show formats from television like the “Wheel of Fortune” or “Deal or No Deal”. They are streamed in real time from dedicated studios and are hosted by live game presenters.
Blackjack games are ranked in third place, having contributed 16.11 per cent of operator turnovers, baccarat games have a share of 7.45 per cent, and slots have generated 4.59 per cent of casino income.
Indian Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, Asian Sic Bo, and Dragon Tiger, also Positioned in the Top Casino Chart
Despite the fierce competition of so many classic casino games, traditional Indian games like Teen Patti and Andar Bahar, as well as a number of Asian games, have had no trouble finding their place among the top ranked online casino games in the country.
Andar Bahar is the leader among non-Western casino games, mastering a share of 2.97 per cent of the total operator turnovers, while Teen Patti contributed 1.67 per cent, mostly through the “Bet on Teen Patti” game.
Some Asian games perform even better, most notably dice game Sic Bo with a 3.06 per cent share, and simple card comparison game Dragon Tiger with a share of 2.27 per cent. Fan Tan is at the bottom of the chart with 0.34 per cent.
