On the other hand, Haryana (31 gold) is second while Maharashtra (29 gold) is in third place in the National Games 2022. Puducherry became the 28th team to win at least one gold at the Games. Defending champions Punjab and Haryana made it to the finals of women's hockey. In the semi-finals, Punjab beat Madhya Pradesh 2-1 while Haryana beat Jharkhand 5-2.
