While Team Australia prepares for a historic journey to Pakistan, several players are anxious about security in the country. Fans have marked their calendars for the first time in almost 24 years as Australia prepare to tour Pakistan. It will be a packed visit, with three Tests, as many ODIs, and a single T20I. The players are left shaken by a series of recent brutal assaults, including one in Lahore.  The country has hosted numerous international matches in the past few years, still, multiple athletes have expressed reservations about going to the country. In fact, the New Zealand cricket team postponed their journey to Pakistan last year due to security reasons. As a consequence of the current assaults, the Australian players have also stated their concerns.
