On National Sports Day, the Mumbai Universal Business School decided to celebrate this day in a different way. They organized a football tournament called Futsal Tournament. All the students witnessed the match as the 8 teams compete against each other. The match attracted many spectators and the chief guest, Ms. Payal Singha.
Cardiff Team A and Cardiff Team B qualified for the final match. The match was full of vigor and excitement. Cardiff Team A emerged as the winner with a score of 2-0 at the end of the match. The team consisted of Vishesh Gawri, Abhishek Chakraborty, Ashish Dagar, Sagnik Mukherjee, Kshitij Sharma, Vinil Tare & Ritesh Singh.
Basically, Futsal is an association football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor soccer. Two teams can play the game with five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Moreover, the game requires a smaller, harder, lower-bounce ball than a football. Unlike some other forms of indoor soccer, the game needs a hard court surface marked by lines, walls, or boards. The surface, ball, and rules favor ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes control, improvisation, creativity, and technique.
