We finally know the list of 32 nations that will play the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

With the 2022 World Cup less than a year away, the hosts Qatar have already unveiled seven of the eight planned venues for the global showpiece tournament.

The draw threw up political intrigue, a heavyweight European clash and one group that is particularly hard to call.

The draw is complete and the big news coming in is former World Cup winners Spain and Germany getting drawn together in Group E. Holders France are in Group D, while five-time winners Brazil are in Group G. Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal find themselves in Group H, while Lionel Messi's Argentina are in Group C.

Brazil took over as the No. 1 team from Belgium, the first change as the top in three years.
