The dream is very near for the 22 year old tennis player from Greece. Tsitsipas went in to the semi final with 0-3 record in major semis. However, despite the odds, it was Tsitsipas who made it to his first ever Grand Slam final. He will face the winner of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal in the 2021 French Open Final.

The fifth seeded Tsitsipas did not had it easy against a worthy opponent in Alexander Zverev. The three and a half hour long five sets battle is a proof of that.
Tsitsipas defeated Zverev 6-3, 6-3, 4-6, 4-6, 6-3 at the Court Philippe Chatrier to make it to his first-ever major's finals. Tsitsipas gained full control of the match after some solid returns from him. However, few successive unforced errors from the sixth-seeded German helped him a lot as well.

The fifth set started with some crucial service hold from Tsitsipas and then some unforced errors from Zverev. That made Tsitsipas lead the fifth set 3-1 quickly.
Fifteen minutes later, Tsitsipas earned his first match point to make it to his first-ever grand slam final. Perhaps, he did not waste any chances as he won the match with a cracking ace to enter the 2021 French Open Final.
In virtue of that win Tsitsipas now became the first player from Greece to play in a Grand Slam final. Moreover, he is now the youngest player to play in a French Open final since Nadal had done it in 2008.
After playing three consecutive major semi-finals these might be the time for Tsitsipas to go all the way.
