Novak Djokovic overtakes Roger Federer's 31 Grand Slam finals by defeating Briton Cameron Norrie in the Wimbledon 2022 semifinal on yesterday. Now he has reached 32 finals overall and set a record of most grand slam finals. The world No.3 has 87 ATP singles victories including 20 Grand Slam singles titles. He is just getting better with age and also aiming for his seventh Wimbledon titles. He is the first and only male Serbian player to win Grand Slam and attain the number 1 ranking.

The Swiss maestro, Roger Federer made his ATP debut at the 1998 Swiss Open. Since then Federer has made many records and impressed everyone with his tennis skills. He has won 103 ATP singles which is the second most of all time after Jimmy Connors. Until yesterday he holds the record of 31 major singles finals including 20 major singles titles. Besides, he is the first male player to win more than 14 Grand Slams. Also, he holds eight men's singles Wimbledon titles.

3. Rafael Nadal- 30 finals

The world No.4, Rafael Nadal had to quit recently the semifinal of Wimbledon 2022 as he was suffering from major injury and lower abdominal pain. He is one of the most successful player in tennis history with 13 French Open titles, four US Open titles, two Wimbledons and two Australian Open titles. The Spanish player achieved 22 Grand Slam men's singles titles, played in 30 Grand Slam finals. Unfortunately he didn't make his 31st finals because of the injury, still he will be the best of all time.

Pete Sampras had the most precise and powerful serve, for those skills he earned the nickname "Pistol Pete". It is considered to be the finest in tennis history to date. At the time of retirement, he has 14 major singles titles during his career which was an all-time record at his time. The American legend has a then-record seven Wimbledon titles, two Australian Opens and a joint Open Era record five US Open titles. Besides Sampras has won 64 singles titles in total.
