After a fifth-set tiebreak against Alexei Popyrin, Medvedev reached the last 16. He reached the menโ€™s singles quarter-finals after the fourth-round match. He might have lost to Rafael Nadal two years ago, but this time he made a great comeback and finished the final game of the second set in less than 1 minute with a few aces and the service winner. Also, he won all his first-serve points in the third hosted in Arthur Ashe stadium
