For Delhi Capitals, apart from David Warner (49), Tristan Stubbs (44*) and Rishabh Pant (28), no other batter could stay on the pitch for long.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals after losing the toss and batting first, scored 185/5 in 20 overs in Jaipur on 28 March. Now Delhi Capitals had to score 186 runs to win. Riyan Parag scored an unbeaten 84 runs in 45 deliveries. Parag creamed 25 runs in the last over bowled by Anrich Nortje.
Delhi Capitals then came out and got off to a quick start initially but Nandre Burger then dismissed Mitchell Marsh and Ricky Bhui in the same over. This brought out Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant into the middle in the fourth over. However, DC's chase took too long to get going and when it did, it was too late.
Nandre Burger (2/29) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2/19) picked up two wickets each. Avesh Khan (1/29) also did well for Rajasthan Royals
Tristan Stubbs gave Delhi Capitals a glimmer of hope towards the end but it was too late by then. Tristan Stubbs stayed unbeaten on 44 off 23 and Delhi Capitals were restricted to a score of 173/5 in 20 overs.
