National Games 2022: Mirabai Chanu wins gold medal in 49kg weightlifting

Indian ace athlete Mirabai Chanu had brought glory to the country by winning medals in Commonwealth Games and Tokyo Olympics. Similarly, she is also maintaining her excellent performance by capturing gold in the National Games 2022 in Gujarat on September 30.

Mirabai won this gold medal by defeating Sanjita Chanu in the women's 49 kg category at the National Games 2022. Sanjita Chanu settled for the silver medal while Odisha's Sneha Soren won the bronze medal.

The Manipuri girl has won medals for the country on many occasions. She won silver medal in Commonwealth Games 2015. After this, she won the gold medal in 2017 in Gold Coast. He also won gold in Birmingham in 2022.
