Adidas will be the new kit sponsor of Team India for the upcoming matches. The honorable secretary of BCCI Jay Shah made this announcement on Monday. The German sporting goods multinational was assigned as the kit sponsor for the Indian cricket team for ₹350 crores.
The India Cricket Team will appear in the new jersey starting next month to play the World Test Championship Final 2023 on June 7 at Kennington Oval in London. We will see the Rohit Sharma led Indian team will wear Adidas jerseys.

"I'm pleased to announce @BCCI's partnership with @adidas as a kit sponsor. We are committed to growing the game of cricket and could not be more excited to partner with one of the world's leading sportswear brands. Welcome aboard, @adidas," Jay Shah tweeted on Monday.
Adidas will replace the present sponsor Killer Jeans. Killer Jeans is now the interim sponsor of the Indian jersey after the then-sponsor Mobile Premier League Sports (MPL Sports) pulled out of the deal midway.

The present sponsorship contract of Killer Jeans will expire on May 31. The new deal with Adidas will take immediate effect after that. Prior to Killer Jeans, MPL was India's kit sponsor who paid the Indian board 6.5 lakh per match and 9 crores in royalties.
As per the report, The BCCI is also looking for a new primary sponsor. The current primary sponsor of Indian Jersey is Byju's who's willing to end its contract in November 2023 before the deadline. With the World Cup being held this year, we could get to see a brand-new ODI kit of Team India.
