Bengal pacer Ishan Porel might be out of the Bengal Pro T20 League 2024 after sustaining an injury in the Adamas Howrah Warriors vs Rashmi Medinipur Wizards match on Friday at the Eden Gardens.
Ishan, who is the vice-captain of the team was bowling the first over of the second inning and in the fifth ball of the inning, he suddenly started limping. After getting medical attention, Ishan bowled the final ball of the over and left the ground.

Unfortunately for the rest of the match, Ishan could not come back and bowl again for his team Rashmi Medinipur Wizards. Adamas were able to take advantage of that and won the match after two brilliant innings from Pankaj Shaw and Pramod Chandila.
After the match, Sportz Point confirmed that Ishan sustained the same he had during the U-19 World Cup in 2018. The medium pacer has pain in the heel area and will go through some medical checkups to further analyse the injury. However, it looks like, Ishan Porel will be missing the whole Bengal Pro T20 League 2024 due to the injury.
