Smriti Mandhana became only third Indian women cricketer after Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur to score 3000 ODI runs. Not only she reached the milestone, she nearly broke the all-time Indian Women's record of doing it in minimum innings. The southpaw reached the milestone in 76 innings and became the 3rd fastest Indian to 3000 runs among the Indian batters (men and women).
While breaking the record of Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj, Madhana nearly broke the record of Virat Kohli. Mithali, who took 88 innings to score her first 3000 WODI runs was the fastest among the women cricketers in India. On the other hand, the current Indian women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur took 101 innings to reach her 3000 WODI runs.

Shikhar Dhawan is the fastest Indian to 3000 ODI runs among men and women. He got to the milestone in just 72 innings with an average of 43.47. Meantime Shikhar had also scored 9 ODI centuries as well while getting to that milestone.
