After a not-so-great series against England, Harmanpreet Kaur did not start the Australia series on a great note. Although India scored more than 400 in the first inning and that was good enough for them to register a historic test win, Harmanpreet Kaur departed without troubling the scorers.

It was a length ball from Gardner that just kept a bit low and Harmanpreet, who looked to defend, was not able to stop the ball from striking the pad.

Harmanpreet Kaur started the ODI series on a bad note as she was out cheaply on 9 in Mumbai. Batting at 4, Harmanpreet went for her favourite shot, the sweep against Ashleigh Gardner but only managed top top edge the ball. Darcie Brown took an excellent full-length dive catch to send the Indian captain back to the pavilion.

Harmanpreet Kaur joined Richa Ghosh after the dismissal of Jemimah Rodrigues in the last match of 2023. Although Richa was send earlier just like the 1st ODI, since Harmanpreet was not in great form, she could only get 5 as she was caught by Healy while trying to cut a ball from Georgia Wareham.

After a very disappointing end to 2023, Harmanpreet Kaur started 2024 on a bad note as well. India were chasing a total of 339 in the last ODI of the series. The Indian captain tried to be cheeky as she attempted a paddle sweep against Georgia Wareham. However, Beth Mooney was clever enough to move from sleep towards leg sleep to take an easy catch to send Harmanpreet Kaur for only 3.

Harmanpreet Kaur tried to sweep the ball from outside the box against Ashleigh Gardner, who was clever enough to the get the top edge. Ellyse Perry did the rest at square leg.

Harmanpreet Kaur's poor form continued in the Ongoing Australia series as she departed for 6 in the last and final T20I in Mumbai. The Indian captain tried to flick the ball towards the legside, however, failed to Get a connection with bad and ball as she was deceived by a slower ball from Annabel Sutherland and clean bowled.
