The year 2022 has a lot to treat and entertain for cricket fans, especially the Indian cricket fanatics. The team will be playing numerous tournaments before the ICC men's T20 World Cup starts in October. India will be playing 3 more white-ball tournaments before they take off for the ICC men's T20 World Cup. Let's take a look at the Indian team schedule till the ICC men's T20 World Cup 2022.

Against Sri Lanka
The men in blue will play a 3-match T20I series and 2-match Test series against Sri Lanka at home. The T20I series begins on 24 February and the Test will start from 4th March. Lucknow will host the 1st T20I match on 24 February and Dharamshala will host the next two. On the other hand, the test matches will be played in Mohali and Bengaluru.
IPL 2022
IPL 2022 is going to be completely different than before. A total of 10 teams representing 10 states of India will be facing off in the tournament. Though the dates have not been released yet, it is expected that IPL 2022 will begin on 26 March and will continue till the first week of June.
Against South Africa
India will be locking horns with South Africa in a 5-match T20I series after playing the IPL. The tournament will be played in India itself and it starts on 9 June.
Against Ireland
Nothing has been officially announced for the specific T20I match against Ireland. India is likely to play only one T20I match against the team in the United Kingdom.
Against England
The Indian team will be going on the India tour of England to knock off in 3 T20Is, the same number of ODIs, and 1 Test match. The series will commence on 1 July with the test match, followed by the T20I series starting on 7 July and ending with the ODI starting from 12 July.
West Indies tour
According to a report in the Times of India, India will be touring to play West Indies. The dates and other fixtures haven't been announced yet.
Zimbabwe tour
The same report in the Times of India also stated that India will play against Zimbabwe. Similar to the West Indies, the dates for the Zimbabwe tour are unknown as of now.
Asia Cup
Sri Lanka is hosting the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. The 15th edition of the Asia Cup is all set to begin from the month of September.
T20 World Cup 2022
After an extreme action-packed schedule, India will be finally playing the ICC men's T20 World Cup. Their first match is against Pakistan on 23 October.
