Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Rajasthan Royals convincingly by 7 wickets to make an easy way to the playoffs. However, RCB is currently at the 3rd position of the IPL 2021 points table. As Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal star with the ball. And Glenn Maxwell and KS Bharat do the job done in batting. Chahal took 2 wickets and Harshal takes 3 in the final over of the Royals innings. On the batting department, Glenn Maxwell and Bharat played brilliant knocks to chase the minimal target of 150 runs in just 17.1 overs.

RCB skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bowl first against the Royals. However, Bangalore makes one change on their side. George Garton debuts for RCB replacing Kyle Jamieson. On the other side, Rajasthan Royals also make a change o their side. Kartik Tyagi comes back in the Royals playing xi replacing Jaydev Unadkat. The rest of the players remains the same for both of the teams.

First innings dissaster from the Royals :
Royals opener Evin Lewis and Yasashwi Jaiswal come to open the innings for RR. As the pitch was a little bit flat and hard, Lewis enjoys the ball coming to his bat. However, Lewis started to flowing boundaries in each overs of RCB's bowlers. As soon the run rate was gone up towards 10+ per over. On the other side, Jaiswal also played a decent knock before he got out on 31 in 22 balls.
However, Rajasthan scored 56 runs in their powerplay(1-6) overs. Finally, debutant Geoge Garton makes RCB relief as he got Lewis's wicket in the 12th over. After that Mahipal Lomror comes in, but he fails to deliver. However, Lomror got stumped by KS Bharat on just 3 runs. The trouble begins when skipper Sanju Samson falls on just 19 runs in Shahabaz's delivery.
However, the Royals faces big trouble as Shahbaz took back-to-back wickets in his first over of the match. As Rajasthan slips from 100-1 in 11 overs to 149-9 runs in 20 overs. Yuzvendra Chahal got 2 important wickets of Lomror and Livingstone. Shahbaz also got two in his 2 overs with 1 wicket for the debutant Garton. Purple Cap holder Harshal Patel took three wickets in his last over.

The Chase from Royal Challenegers Bangalore :
Coming to chase the below average target, skipper Kohli started well. As Virat started to hit back-to-back boundaries in Kartik Tyagi's over. But, Devdutt Paddikal bowled out by Mustafizur in the 6th over of RCB's innings. The main trouble begins when Kohli got run out by Riyan Parag in the very next over.
However, Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell took the charge on the Rajasthan's bowlers as they build a good partnership to end Royals hope. They buid a 69 runs partnershipin just 37 deliveries, before bharat got caught on 44 runs. Soon Maxwell completes his half century as he hit Royals 16.25 crores bowler Chris Morris for back-to-back boundaries.
Moreover, 21 runs were required in 24 deliveries when Morris came to bowl the 17th over. Maxwell hits a total of 3 boundaries and a massive six to end the hopes of Royals. As RCB finishes the chase in just 17.1 overs as AB De Villers smashes a boundary in the first delivery of the 18th over. RCB won the match by 7 wickets with 17 balls remaining.
