Yashpal Singh is the record holder of the least strike rate in an IPL inning. The former player of Kolkata Knight Riders made only 6 runs in 20 balls in a match against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2009. His strike rate of that inning was 30.00. Kolkata Knight Riders won that match with only 3 balls remaining.

MS Dhoni
While CSK was banned for 2 years, Mahendra Singh Dhoni played for Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL during that time. It was the year 2016 and in a match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the captain of RPS, MS Dhoni scored only 8 runs in 22 balls with a strike rate of 36.36. KKR won the match that night by 8 wickets by the DLS method.

While playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Yuzvendra Chahal made only 8 runs in 21 balls against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021. He had the strike rate of 38.10 during his inning. The result of the match was in favor of Chennai Super Kings as they bundled up RCB for 122-9 in 20 overs and won by 69 runs.
