A total of 333 players will go under the hammer as we gear up for the IPL 2024 Auction which is scheduled to take place in Dubai on the 19th December, 2023. Out of all those 333 players, 214 are Indians and 119 are overseas along with 2 players from associate nations.
In those 333 players, there are 215 uncapped players, 116 capped players and 2 associate players. 23 players are named in the highest base price of INR 2 Cr, while 13 players are listed in the INR 1.5 Cr base price.

A maximum of 77 slots will be filled by all the ten Indian Premier League (IPL) teams. Among those 77 slots, a maximum of 30 players can be foreigners.
Kwena Maphaka, the South African left-arm fast bowler is the youngest player listed on the auction list at just age 17. Jamie Overton of England at 40 years of age is the oldest player who will go under the hammer.
