#6 Virat Kohli – 16

Kohli has a superb season with the bat in IPL 2016 when he scored 4 hundreds in a single season along with a mammoth 973 runs in aggregate. In his IPL career, he won 16 man of the match awards for his batting performances. Virat is the highest run getter in IPL history with the record of being the first player who scored 7000 runs in IPL history. He made 7162 runs in 229 innings with an average of 36.72 and a strike rate of 129.62.

#5 MS Dhoni – 17

Dhoni himself is the record book in limited overs cricket and he made his name in some insane records in history. Under his captaincy, CSK won the IPL four times in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021. He won 17 Man of the Match awards till now in the history of IPL. Dhoni has 5076 runs on his name in his entire IPL career till now with an average of 39.34 and a strike rate of 136. David Warner is also one of the most consistent players in IPL history. He has won the Man of the Match award 18 times. Under his captaincy, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the IPL in the 2016 season, where he scored 848 runs. In total, Warner has made 6311 runs at a strike rate of 139.8 and an average of 41.24. He also holds the record for scoring the most fifties (60) in IPL history.

Rohit Sharma has won 19 Man of the Match awards in IPL history. He won the most awards among Indian players and third overall. Under his captaincy, Mumbai Indians won five titles in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020 seasons respectively. Alongside the brilliant captaincy, he is also a good batsman in IPL. Chris Gayle is considered one of the greatest ever T20 cricketers with consistent performance and insane records over the years.
