The previous record holders are Kane Williamson (NZ) and Eoin Morgan (ENG). They have also registered 15 wins as captain in T20Is at home.

Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has registered 13 wins in those 23 T20I matches that he played at home. Kohli has been one of the most successful captains in T20Is with a win percentage of over 60. Under Kohli's captaincy, India has won many T20I series at home and also won away T20I series.
Aaron Finch | 14 wins
World Cup-winning Aussie skipper Aaron Finch has won 14 games at home in 25 T20I matches he played as captain. Therefore, Finch is just one win behind the top three to register the same amount of wins at home. Finch-led Australia has recently won a T20I series(4-1) against Sri Lanka at home.
Eoin Morgan | 15 wins
