Former Pakistani cricketer Zaheer Abbas has tested positive for Covid-19. He has been admitted to Saint Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. Three days after getting admitted, he was moved to the ICU, Where he has to put on oxygen support, according to Geo News.
Pakistani batting great, Zaheer Abbas is 74 years old. He tested Covid positive while travelling from Dubai to London. After landing in London, he was in pain and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Doctors have advised him not to make meetings with people.

The former batter of Pakistan National Cricket Team was the most stylish and elegant cricketer of his era as well as the finest batter of his generation. He made his Test debut for Pakistan in 1969 against New Zealand in Karachi. His ODI debut came against England in 1974 Nottingham.

He made as much runs for Pakistani team. He scored 5062 runs in 72 Tests. In 62 ODIs he scored 2572 runs. He collected 34,843 runs in 459 matches in first-class cricket where he got 108 centuries and 158 fifties. He has been honored the ICC Hall of Fame in 2020 along with Jacques Kallis and Lisa Sthalekar. After retirement, he also served as ICC match referee in one Test and three ODIs.
