Shikhar Dhawan played for 3 different franchises in the last 7 years. He has been one of the most consistent players in the history of IPL. Usually, he plays in the top order and opens the innings most of the time. He did brilliant work when he was in Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals, while also doing the same while playing for Punjab. Last night he played a pivotal role to take his team from 88/9 to 143/9. He himself remained unbeaten at 99, just falling 1 short of making a hundred. Also, Dhawan is the second-highest run-getter in the history of IPL, just behind Virat Kohli. He scored 6469 runs in 208 innings with an average of 36.13 and scored 49 half-centuries altogether.

Kohli is the only player to play all season for a single franchise since his debut in IPL. He also made his name written on the IPL record book for scoring runs in the history of IPL. This season also he is in a good form and started the tournament with a fifty against Mumbai Indians. He is the leading run-getter in IPL history being at top of the tally with 6727 runs on his name. He was in his form of life in 2016 and made the record of scoring 973 in a single season with 4 centuries. Since then Virat has made at least one fifty in each of the last 7 seasons along with Dhawan and Rahul Tripathi.

Rahul Tripathi is the third player to score at least one fifty in each of the last 7 seasons. Though his IPL career isn't that much longer like the other two players, still he has been consistent in each season of the IPL. Tripathi also played at the top order for most of his career and scored valuable runs for his team. On the last night, he played an unbeaten 74-run knock to his toward a comfortable victory against Punjab Kings. He hit 10 boundaries and 3 sixes in the innings and made a century partnership with Skipper Aiden Markram.
