PCB chairman Ramiz Raja said that he will be proposing a "Four Nations T20I Super Series" to the International Cricket Council (ICC)

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has said that he will propose a four-nation T20I series involving India, Pakistan, England, and Australia to the International Cricket Council (ICC). Raja said that if the series goes ahead, the profits will be split between all ICC members.

"Hello fans. Will propose to the ICC a Four Nations T20i Super Series involving Pak Ind Aus Eng to be played every year, to be hosted on rotation basis by these four. A separate revenue model with profits to be shared on percentage basis with all ICC members, think we have a winner."

India and Pakistan have not faced each other in matches outside ICC events or the Asia Cup since 2013. The 2012/13 T20I series, in which India hosted Pakistan, was also the last bilateral series played between the two sides. Meanwhile, they have not faced each other in a Test series since 2008.

India and Pakistan faced each other in the group stage of the T20 World Cup in UAE. However, the Babar Azam-led emerged victorious by 10 wickets. It was Pakistan's first win against India in the ICC World Cups.

Pakistan dominated the group stage and reached the semi-final without any hassle. However, they lost to the eventual champions Australia in the semi-final. Meanwhile, India failed to make it beyond their group, having lost to New Zealand by seven wickets in their second group match.
