MS Dhoni's batting Stats in IPL

Dhoni has played 247 matches till now in his IPL career and has scored 5076 runs, with an average of 39.35. He has scored 24 IPL half-centuries and 41 times 30+ and 52 times 20+ IPL runs. His strike rate is 136.01 with a highest score of 84. Dhoni smashed 349 fours and 239 sixes in his IPL career.

Dhoni majorly played for CSK in 14 editions, except in 2016 and 2017, when the franchise was banned for a period of two years. He played 217 matches till now for Chennai since 2008 and scored 4502 runs at an average of 40.56 and a strike rate of 137.59. Dhoni is the second highest run getter in IPL just after Suresh Raina.

Dhoni has been the most successful captain in IPL history. He led CSK for 14 times and RPSG for two times in IPL. As a captain MS has won 130 matches out of 223 matches he led CSK and he has the best winning percentage of 58.29.

Dhoni led CSK to four titles in IPL and also five times finishes as runners-up. He is the only Indian captain to reach the IPL finals nine times. While he also led RPSG to the final in one season. Under Dhoni's captaincy, CSK won the title in 2010, 2011, 2018, and 2021 and finished as runners-up in 2008, 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2019. CSK has been champion in the Champions League T20 twice in 2010 & 2014 under MS Dhoni.
