Yashasvi Jaiswal became only the third Indian to score 150 on test debut. He also became the 17th Indian to score a century on test debut. He didn't just introduced himself in the format but also broke some rare records of this beautiful game. Jaiswal scored 171 runs as India declared their inning on 421 runs for 5 losses. India won the first test at Dominica by an inning and 141 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal won the man of the match award for the beautiful inning he played. He just showcased his potential in front of the world. "Let's see what the future holds for me, this is just the start," Jaiswal said after winning the Man of the match award.

"It felt very nice getting the Player-of-the-Match award on debut. It's been a long journey, feeling very happy and good about it," said Jaiswal on his way to the hotel room. "Let's see what the future holds for me, this is just the start. Pray to God that I continue playing like this, keep making (such) efforts and keep contributing for the team," he added. "Thank you so much in the end. This will be a memorable moment for me. Thank you God, thank you guys for your love and support," he concluded.

He thanked every seniors in the Indian team and his parents about how they helped him throughout his journey. After an impressive domestic season, he continued that run of form during the IPL also. Yashasvi didn't go his hard work in vein and made his Test debut memorable for a long time.

Abhimanyu Easwaran was named the captain of the India A team for the tour of England as the BCCI announced the India A squad for the upcoming tour starting from 30th May 2025. 

India A will play two first-class matches against the England Lions at Canterbury and Northampton. Then they will play a practice match against the senior Indian team to prepare them for the big series against England. 

Karun Nair was rewarded for his excellent domestic form as he made a return to the India A side. His performance for the A side might decide whether he will be given a chance for the senior team or not.

Abishek Porel, who was named in the last India A's tour to Australia, has been replaced by Ishan Kishan in the side.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, who will be busy in the Indian Premier League for the Gujarat Titans, will join the squad from the second match.
