The former captain of India's national women's cricket team is the world's leading wicket-taker in women's ODI cricket. After stories of MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, the 1983 World Cup, it is time for the world to witness the biopic of this legend as well.

Hailing from a small town in West Bengal, Chakdaha, she overcame all the hurdles and reached where she is today. The name of the film is inspired by the place she grew up in. Prosit Roy is the director of the film. The biopic will be produced by the lead's brother Karnesh Ssharma, and co-produced by Manoj Mittra, Saurabh Malhotra, and Rajneesh Chopra. The filming of the film inspired by the life of Jhulan Goswami will start soon. The film will release on the OTT platform, Netflix.
