With the fifth and final test at the Old Trafford, Manchester starting on September 10, 2021. "Will India play with the same xi or will make some changes to their side??" SportzPoint.com is here to find out.

KL Rahul

A failure at Headingley isn't enough to write off KL Rahul. He returns with a crucial 46 runs in the second innings at the Oval test. Moreover, He commence a good opening partnership with Rohit Sharma in the second innings. However, he will be the first choice as a opener in the fifth test.

Rohit Sharma

Rohit is currently the most consistent batsman in the team. He scored his maiden away ton at the Oval on fourth test match. However, after a hundred in the fourth Test, it's obvious that Rohit will be the other opener with KL Rahul.

Cheteshwar Pujara

What we saw in Pujara at the Oval was no less than a surprise. His strike was higher and he was dealing with England pacers with utmost confidence. Probably it's a sign that the Test specialist has got his mojo back.

Virat Kohli

After a fifty in the last game, the Indian skipper would like to maintain the momentum at the Old Trafford. He needs to answer his critics by bettering his technique against the moving ball, which has been his nemesis in the ongoing series.

Ajinkya Rahane

It has been a roller-coaster ride for Rahane in England. He had scored a ton in Australia but that seems like ages ago. Right now, he needs to step up and show the calibre of being a vice-captain of team like India. However, he can be replaced by Hanuma Vihari, Surya Kumar Yadav or Mayank Agarwal. Although, replacing him for the final test will be a tough call for the management. As the management will not want to break the winning combination(except injuries).

Rishabh Pant

It's high time for Rishabh to perform with the bat in the final test at the Old Trafford. His glovework has improved a lot but the fans are eager to see some fireworks from him; at least a sensible knock that can strengthen the middle-order.

Ravindra Jadeja

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has not performed much in the level he is considered. Although, Indian team management tried him to bat up the order but, it seems a bad decision. However, Jadeja can be replaced by Ravichandran Ashwin as Ashwin can do the impossible sometimes.

Shardul Thakur

Thakur's bowling had taken the hosts by surprise at the Oval. Moreover, after he scores back to back fifties in both of the Oval's innings. He is certainty a first choice as a bowling all-rounder for India at the upcoming final test.

Umesh Yadav

Umesh Yadav played brilliantly in the fourth test match at the Oval with taking a total of 6 wickets. However, Umesh has been terrific so far and will get better if plays in final test. He is a crucial part of India's pace attack now for sure.

Mohammed Siraj

Siraj is the new bowling star of Team India. He's now the go to bowler of Virat Kohli who can pose some serious threat to the hosts. Although, Shami can replace him as Shami has not played the last test at the Oval.

Jasprit Bumrah

The leader of India's modern-era pace attack, Bumrah is currently India's leading wicket-takers in this series. With 18 scalps to his credit, he will definitely not stop himself from going for some more at the Old Trafford.

India Predicted XI: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli (C), Ajinkya Rahane / Hanuma Vihari, Rishabh Pant (WK), Ravindra Jadeja / Ravichandran Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj / Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah.
