IPL Fantasy League Team News: KKR

Eoin Morgan is full-time captain for the first time. Sure he would love to test himself in the biggest league of the world. KKR has not qualified for the playoffs since 2018. Dinesh Karthik, Andre Russell will still be a big factor for the team.

The big news is that their star all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan is back with them. The Chennai pitch might suit him also. However, the opening slot is still a worry for the Knights. Gill had some strike rate issues last year whereas Rahul Tripathi has some consistency issues.

Before the start of the season, the KKR team management needs to make sure they have a sorted batting order. In bowling Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy, and Nagarkoti will be under the spotlight. Prasidh Krishna will like to have a great IPL after his international debut.

KKR would love to use Harbhajan Singh's experience at the Chennai Ground.

IPL Fantasy League Team News: SRH

David Warner is only 88  runs away to become the first and only batsman to score 1000 runs against a team; the team is Kolkata Knight Riders. Jonny Bairstow is in great touch, in that case, Kane Williamson might have to sit on the bench again.

Rashid Khan again will be the key player for them. Mohammad Nabi might be preferred ahead of other pace bowling all-rounders like Jason Holder.

Wridhhiman Saha's emergence as a T20 opener is a good sign. However, they might send him down the order. Abdul Samad, Priam Garg, and Abhishek Sharma are good young prospects for them. Though, the biggest news for them is Bhuvneshwar Kumar's fitness and form along with T Natarajan's confidence.

Manish Pandey and Vijay Shankar will be up for the challenge to prove themselves again in the IPL 2021. Along with all that newly appointed Trevor Bayliss will have some experience to share from his tittle winning experience with the KKR back in 2012 and 2014.

KKR to wear special kit at training before CSK game, dedicated to their ‘Shahoshi Rani’ initiative

As part of their continued commitment to empowering the community and celebrating everyday heroes, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are set to bring their Shahoshi Rani initiative to the ongoing IPL 2025 season. This unique initiative honours women who have shown exceptional bravery, resilience, and determination in the face of adversity.

These Shahoshi Ranis will be at the heart of KKR’s message of celebrating strength, inspiring change, and fostering inclusivity in sport when the defending champions take on the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Eden Gardens on May 7.

As part of the campaign, 40 Shahoshi Ranis will be present at the KKR practice session, having the opportunity to watch the team train, interact with the players and coaching staff, and spend time with franchise co-owner Juhi Chawla, who will also be present to engage with these remarkable women.

Dhawan first crossed 500 runs in the 2102 season, playing for Delhi Capitals. That season, he scored 569 runs at a 40.64 batting average. Four seasons later, in 2016, Dhawan scored 501 runs while playing for SRH.
