The substitute Smith Rowe does the job with his first touch of the match.

David Raya made a huge mistake in the goal, and as Cunha went for the goal, Raya pushed him to win the ball back.

However, the referee did not feel it was good enough for a penalty.

Ekitike had the chance to riddle the ball into the goal from an airy ball outside the box by Writz. But Diakite was there to deflect it for a corner to Liverpool FC.

Sarr scores the important goal for Palace.

We have a cooling break and looks like we will have changes as well.

On a day he has not placed a single foot wrong, Writz, in the middle of the box, after receiving a juicy pass, mistimed the finish. 

Eze's left-footed low shot from close range was saved by the Liverpool goalkeeper. 

Szoboszlai let the ball go away, and Palace had the chance to counterattack and score. 

Ohh, from the second corner, Richards had all the chance to head the ball inside the goal. 

He had the time and space. But his timid header went straight to Alisson, who did not make any error. 

Palace earn two consecutive corners. Good spell of play for them. 

Guéhi's cross was backheaded by Mateta, and it went towards Sarr at the right of the box. 

Sarr was found offside after going for the header. 

It is Writz again who is causing all the problems.

Ekitike found his pass again but decided to give it to Salah. 

Salah's cross was then blocked by Guéhi.

Writz drills another cross from the left. Ekitike needs to do better with that.

It was accurate from Writz, but he could not keep that side booted shot down.

The referee blows his whistle, and this is the half-time at Wembley. 

Liverpool will be happier with the result so far. But they know that the one-goal deficit is never safe. 

Good control from Writz on the left, and he then lofted the ball for Frimpong to go for the goal with a volley.

However, he skied the ball up after mishitting it. 

Brilliant cross from Munoz from the right. But, Konate had Sarr covered, who could not get a touch to that top-class cross.

7 minutes have been added to the first half. 

Eiktike wanted to run away with the ball on the left. But, Richards kept chasing him and stayed with him before winning the physical battle. He won the ball back for Palace. 

Konate receives the first caution of the match as he tackled Mateta from behind in the middle of the pitch. 

In Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong, this is the first time two players have scored on their #LFC debut in the same game since August 2006 - Craig Bellamy and Mark González v Maccabi Haifa.

The Dutch star first made a good run to stop a possible goal-worthy pass from Sarr, at the edge of the box. 

Then, he quickly shifted the pace, found Writz on the flank, who found Ekitike on the left. 

Gakpo then made another run to find the pass from Ekitike, but his pass to Salah was not recieved well by the Egyptian.

Unfortunately, Kamada can not continue anymore, and he will be substituted by Will Hughes. 

Kamada is down with a leg injury while Konate needs medical attention for something happened to his eye. 

Frimpong is lucky here, or he is a genius. 

Szoboszlai changed the game from left to right and found Frimpong on the right. 

His attempted cross luckily went inside the goal after Henderson failed to expect the shot.

For the first time in ten minutes, Palace have been able to create an attack. 

Kamada, on the left, kept going inside and before he could send a cross from the byline, Frimpong deflected the ball for a corner.

Hugo Ekitike scored for Liverpool in his debut match within 4 minutes.

Writz found the ball from Gakpo, and the new signing then found Ekitike with a smooth pass at the edge of the box. 

Ekitike made a quick turn and then went inside before going for the goal with a right-footed curling shot.
