Marcus Thuram for 9 million?

Transfer expert Christian Falk has revealed that Chelsea's transfer target Marcus Thuram could be available for just £9m (€10m).

The Blues have been competing for the Frenchman's signature with his contract in Germany expiring this summer.

And with Thuram being in amazing goal-scoring form, the 25-year-old has decided to depart from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Chelsea is in need of a striker after massive injury concerns in their forward battery and Thuram could be an ideal signing for Graham Potter.

Chelsea are in talks over a fifth January signing in this window. PSV are looking to sell Madueke this month and Chelsea believe a bid around €45million (£40m) could secure the signing, according to reports in the Football London.

The Blues have expressed interest in signing Madueke in a deal that would cost around £35m.

Madueke, 20, grew up in London and spend time in both the Crystal Palace and Tottenham academies before joining PSV in 2018.

The highly-rated forward has gone on to score 20 goals in 79 first-team appearances for PSV, with his form attracting interest from Premier League giants Chelsea.

Addressing the speculation surrounding Madueke, PSV boss and Manchester United legend Van Nistelrooy said: 'I know there is interest. This is due to his qualities and performance. It's a worry.

We need to see if we can keep him. I very much hope for that. We must do everything we can to do that. But you also know that things can take off, if the purse is pulled hard.

'Then you have to be ready with several options, because then you would lose a second player in January. But as a coach you would rather keep your best players.

'Situations can arise where clubs come in with an offer that cannot be stopped.'

While Mourinho had made them solid in defence, the team started to fall apart during his latter years. After a few failures by the next managers, Ancelotti took the responsibility to bring the silverware back to Stamford Bridge.

Memorable Moment: City completed a successful title defense with an impressive point tally with Pep Guardiola's dominating footballing style. With this title, they became the first team to win the Premier League title in back-to-back 4 seasons.

Manager: Sir Kenny Dalglish.

Memorable Moment: The victory was significant as it ended Manchester United's early dominance in the Premier League, making Blackburn the first club outside the traditional giants to win the title under Premier League format.

Alan Shearer scored 34 goals for them to win his first Golden Boot and Premier League Player of the Season Award. Sir Kenny Dalglish won the Manager of the Season award.

6. Leicester City

Memorable Moment: Leicester's stunning triumph from being outsiders to one of the teams that have won the Premier League is one of the greatest underdog stories in sports history. 

With 81 points, they finished 10 points above Arsenal to win the league. Jamie Vardy with 24 goals won the Premier League Player of the Season for his record-breaking season where he scored in 11 consecutive matches between August and November 2015.

Memorable Moment: Liverpool won the Premier League title for the first time, ending a 30-year wait for top-flight title, achieving their first league title in the Premier League format.

2. Blackburn Rovers:

Blackburn Rovers are an immensely massive football club in Premier League history. Rovers have won multiple honors even before the formation of the Premier League. In 1991, a local millionaire Jack Walker purchased the club and immediately set about making his boyhood club the best team in the country.

Rovers won the Premier League title in the 1994/95 season when they beat Manchester United in the league and managed to get their first league glory after many years.  Premier League's highest goal scorer Alan Shearer was part of that team as well.

3. Liverpool:

When the Premier League era began in 1992, Liverpool was the most decorated in the premier title winner's history with 18 titles, a whole eight ahead of second-placed Arsenal. Liverpool never could have anticipated that they would lose the record within the next 20 years to their fierce rival Manchester United.
