Kiyan Nassiri signs a two year extension with ATK Mohun Bagan, contract now runs till 2024. The young striker had a breakthrough year in Indian Super League 2021-22 under coach Juan Ferrando.

The 21 year old Kolkata-born Nassiri in his youth played for Mohun Bagan AC, Calcutta FC, and Mohammedan Sporting Club.As the son of former Maidan legend Jamshed Nassiri, Kiyan was always interested in football with his father being one of his first coaches to train him.

In the just finished ISL 2022, Nassiri became a Mariners hero, when he scored a hattrick in a 3-1 win against archrivals SC East Bengal and then got more playing time in the squad of head coach Juan Ferrando.

Now he extends his contract with the Mariners with both sides hoping that the young striker develops further and becomes a first team regular.
