Arsenal Legend & The French Speedster Thierry Henry provided 20 assists in the 2002-03 season. They finished second in the league. Henry not only provided assists but also score 24 goals. No other player had scored 20+ goals and provided 20+ assists in a single top-five European league season in the 21st century.

Kevin De Bruyne | 2019-20

Kevin De Bruyne equalled Henry’s record of 20 assists in the 2019-20 season with Manchester City in the Premier League. They lost the league to Liverpool by a huge margin but De Bruyne managed to establish himself as one of the best players in Manchester City History. He also scored 13 goals that season and completed the 33 G+A contributions in the league. De Bruyne makes the top 10 list an astonishing three times, managing 18 assists during the 2016-17 season for Manchester City plus a further 16 assists in 2017-18 for the same club.

Mesut Ozil | 2015-16

Mesut Ozil, another Legend of Arsenal had his peak season in 2015-16. Arsenal finished second in the league, with huge credit to Ozil. He provided 19 assists & scored 6 goals after 35 appearances. 16 of those came in his first 18 games of that season, with the German international midfielder set to absolutely smash Henry’s previous record of 20, but the final 17 appearances that campaign only yielded three more assists, including one on the final day in a 4-0 win over Aston Villa.

There’s every chance De Bruyne could join this list one more time in 2022-23. He currently has 15 assists, with Man City still having eight games to play. Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is in the 2nd position for assists in the Premier League this season, with 10. He also should finish the campaign strongly. Saka could become just the second English player to assist more than 15 goals in a Premier League season after Frank Lampard in 2004-05 for Chelsea.
