New Update

The January transfer window is already serving great news with less than two weeks gone. Clubs in the Premier League are strengthening and a few have already made big moves. Aston Villa has been the highlight club so far with two big signings.

Steven Gerrard has brought on board his former team mate at Liverpool, Philippe Coutinho, joining from Barcelona on a loan deal. It is said the Brazilian agreed to a massive pay cut to enable the move to happen and in the end, it is a win for all – Barcelona, Villa, Gerrard and the player.

Gerrard has also landed French defender Lucas Digne on a permanent contract, paying Everton £25m for the left-back's services, after beating Chelsea, Newcastle United and West Ham United to the deal following days of negotiations.

From the heightened activities, it is clear things will get more and more interesting in the Premier League in the second half of the season.

Fans can have the entertainment served along with great offers from a number of available bookies listed on SportyTrader, among them, VBet, which comes with over 40 sports markets and 30000 live betting events each month. The bookie comes with a VBet promo code for a welcome bonus that is specially designed to target new and verified customers in the UK as well as other offers for users from specific countries. With VBet, the minimum deposit of £5 is quite low compared to the other bookies, which should be good news to new users, and what's more, the bonus amount doesn't come with any wagering requirements. Most of the major currencies are acceptable at VBet, including Euro, GBP and USD. A 9.5 rated customer service guarantees the best assistance to users while its website, bet offers, bonuses and odds are all rated above 9, which bring the overall reputation of the bookie high.

Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic is doing well and after his 21-goal haul in Serie A last season, it is not a surprise he is among the most sought. Arsenal have been linked heavily with the 21-year old but there's competition from elsewhere and it seems Vlahovic is a name many will be looking forward to reading about in this transfer window.

Dean Henderson

Manchester United's second-choice keeper Dean Henderson proved last season that he can be as good as David De Gea if not better. He had his chance and though De Gea got his place back, Henderson had done enough to even attract consideration for the England national team. He may want to remove the tag 'promising keeper' from his name by considering a move that would see him play regularly.

Jesse Lingard

Manchester United looks set to lose a few players. Lingard is another player said to be unhappy at Old Trafford. After a fine outing with West Ham in the second half of last season, he thought he had done enough to warrant a starting berth but he is low on the pecking order ahead of the second half of the season. He hasn't hidden the fact that he wants to leave and Tottenham Hotspurs are a leading side interested in him.

Burnley forward Wood is set to make a move finally. A probable destination is Newcastle United and the forward has attracted heavy linkage with the Toon. Burnley rated the forward at £25m and it is reported that Newcastle United, currently with wealthy ownership, has matched the valuation and the New Zealand international will have a medical at the club soon.
