Olympic 2020 : Day 12 Schedule For India And Key Matches

After Mirabai Chanu won Silver in Weightlifting, P.V Sindhu beats He and bags Bronze on day 11. This is the second medal for India at the Olympics. Moreover, Indian Hockey Team defeated Great Britain by 3-1 to qualify for the Semi Finals. Surprisingly, after a long 49 years Indian Hockey team secured a place in the Semis. Also, Indian Women's Hockey Team surprised three time Gold Medalist Australia. However, Indian girls won the Quarter Finals by 1-0 over the Olympic Champions Australia. Meanwhile, this is first time in the History of Indian Women's Hockey that they qualifies for the Semi Finals.

However, India is hoping for another three medals in Women's Boxing and Men's & Women's Hockey. After a total of 11 days, India has secured two medals, one is Silver and another is Bronze. Annu Rani will participate in Women's Javelin throw on day 12 of Olympics. However, She will play her first game of Tokyo Olympics 2020.

Men's shot put group match will start on day 12. Tajinderpal Singh Toor will represent India for this event at the Olympics.

After waiting for a long 49 years Indian Hockey Team finally qualifies for the Semis. They succesfully defeated Britain by 3-1 in the Quarter Finals on day 11 of Olympic 2020. However, they will face Belgium in the Semi Finals on day 12.
