With Hriday Hazarika and Nancy Mandhotra's silver on the last day of the ISSF Shooting World Cup, India's tally in the World Cup went up to four. In the overall medal tally, India finished their campaign second behind China with one gold, two silver, and one bronze.

On Thursday, Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS won gold in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. While Hriday Hazarika and Nancy Mandotra won silver in the men's and women's 10m air rifle events, respectively. Meanwhile, Indian shooter Rhythm Sangwan on Saturday managed to break a 29-year-old world record in the women's 25m pistol event at the ongoing ISSF Shooting World Cup 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Rhythm recorded a score of 595 in the qualification round, surpassing the previous world record of 594 set by Bulgarian shooter Diana Egorova in 1994. The Indian shooter, however, failed to clinch a medal and finished eighth in the final.
India's Manini Kaushik made it to the medal round of the women's 50m Rifle 3 Positions event on the final day but finished sixth with a score of 415.6. Seonaid McIntosh of the United Kingdom won the gold medal with 467.0 points. While Jeanette Hegg Duestad of Norway won the silver medal with 463.6 points. Germany's Lisa Mueller (448.9) won the bronze medal.

Other Indian shooters competing in the women's 25m pistol event were Esha Singh (582) and Youth Olympic Games gold medalist Manu Bhaker (578) who failed to progress beyond the qualification round after finishing 15th and 33rd respectively. Meanwhile, there was disappointment for Indian shooters in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions (3P) event. They failed to progress beyond the qualifying round.
Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar shot 586 to finish 12th. While Akhil Sheoran (585) and Swapnil Kusale (583) were tied for 15th and 26th respectively. Pankaj Mukherjee was shooting for ranking points. The ongoing event in the capital of Azerbaijan is the final stage of the ISSF Shooting World Cup. The final leg before the ISSF World Championships in Doha in November will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
