Asian Games 2023 Medals Tally: India's medals by sport

The Indian contingent has started the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou on a grand note. They won its first medal on September 24 and since then the winning streak has continued. India has completed its century in the medal tally.

India ended its campaign at the Asian Games 2023 with 107 medals. They won 28 gold, 38 silver and 41 bronze medals. This is India's best performance in the Asian Games so far. India's previous best performance was in 2018, when India got 70 medals. This time India crossed the 100 mark for the first time. India won a lot of medals in archery and athletics. In the end the wrestlers also won many medals. Historic gold medals were won in badminton and cricket.

India won 107 medals in the Asian Games 2023 and is fourth in the medal tally. Some games are yet to be organised, but there is no possibility of any major change in the medal table. In such a situation, India ended its medal campaign by finishing fourth. China lead the overall Asian Games 2023 medals tally with 187 gold, ahead of Japan (47) and the Republic of Korea (36).
