Jyothi Yarraji clocked 13.03 seconds to finish outside the top three in the eight-woman field at the World Athletics Continental Tour silver event. While Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Alaysha Johnson clocked identical times of 12.42s to finish as joint winners. Natalia Christofi of Cyprus finished third with a time of 12.84s. Yarraji's performance in Poland was slower than her national record of 12.82s, but it was her fourth personal best time.

Jyothi Yarraji had won the women's 100m hurdles gold medal with a timing of 13.20s at the T-Meeting 2023 athletics meet in Tilburg, Netherlands ahead of the Poland meet. In addition, the 23-year-old had won the gold medal at the Kurpfalz Gala 2023 Athletics Meet in May. She clocked the season-best timing of 12.84 seconds. Jyothi Yarraji had earlier clocked 12.89s to qualify for the Asian Athletics Championships at the Federation Cup 2023 in Ranchi. This will be held in Thailand this July.

The youngster had a slow start and was lagging behind till the 40m mark. But Yarraji then caught up pace to finish a credible fourth. This was Jyothi Yarraji's fourth-best timing in her career so far. If she'd managed to re-create her personal best of 12.82s, then she would have won the bronze medal at the Polish meet as it would have been 0.02 faster than the eventual third-placed Johnson who clocked 12.84s. This is her third meet in Europe this season with a few more scheduled before the Asian Athletic Championships 2023. Jyothi next up will be competing in a C category event scheduled for June 7th.

Annu Rani will be competing at the Memoriál Josefa Odložila in the Czech Republic tomorrow. This is a World Athletics Continental Tour bronze-level event.
