PV Sindhu ends her BWF Badminton World Championships journey after losing the quarter-final against Tai Tzu Ying yesterday. In the women's singles quarter-final, Sindhu faced a straight-game defeat from the world number one and makes her way out of the tournament hosted in Huelva.

Tai Tzu beat Sindhu 21-17 21-13 in a power-packed game in 42 minutes. It was a tad difficult for the Indian player to cope up with the Chinese player's shots and court average. But Sindhu also executed some of her great smashes. She managed to play a catch-up game in the second match but unfortunately could not win.
The quarter-final of BWF Badminton World Championships was tied at 2-2 in the initial period but Tai Tzu hold the grip and quickly lead the match to 11-6. Once again Sindhu recovered fast and took the score to 17-19 with some of her finest cross-court smashes. Unfortunately, she was unable to continue her momentum till the very end and lost the first game in 17 minutes. The second game was a head-to-head competition but Tai Tzu won it lastly with some of her greatest drops and smashes.
