PV Sindhu is losing to Chinese Taipei shuttler Tai Tzu Ying repeatedly. This time Sindhu dropped out of the Malaysia Masters 2022 ( Super 500 event) after losing to silver medalist Tai in the quarterfinals. This is the seventh consecutive defeat of Sindhu against Tai. The world No.2 has naturally become the cause of Sindhu's nightmares.
The world No.7 has lost to Tai Tzu Ying at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur on Friday. The Chinese Taipei has defeated Sindhu by 21-13, 12-21, 21-12 in 55 minutes. This was Sindhu's seventh consecutive loss to Tai and 17th defeat in 22 matches.

Sindhu had lost to Tai Tzu Ying in the Tokyo 2020 semi-finals and also at the Malaysia Open quarter-finals last week. The last time Sindhu defeated Tai Tzu Ying was at the 2019 World Championships. Since then, Sindhu has been losing to Tai constantly.
After losing the first game today, Sindhu made a great comeback in the second game. In the third and final game, Tai was quite behind from Sindhu. But in the end, Tai brilliantly recovered and won the game. The Olympic medalist has to pay the price for failing in two challenges in the third game. Tai Tzu Ying then advanced to the semifinals of BWF Super 500 badminton tournament.
