1. Belinda Clark | Australia | 16th Dec 1997
Belinda Clark was one of the pioneers of the Women's game. She has led by example, averaging over 45 in both Tests and one-day internationals. She represented Australia as a captain for 14 years. Clark made her one-day international debut for Aus in 1991 against the Kiwis.
In a World Cup match against Denmark in 1997, Belinda Clark made her first double-century, which was the first double ton made by a male or female in ODI cricket history. Clark finished with an unbeaten 229 in 155 balls. Her innings contained 22 fours. Her unbeaten 229 remained the highest individual score in an ODI match till 2018 for almost 21 years.
2. Sachin Tendulkar | India | 24th Feb 2010
Sachin Tendulkar is considered as the "GOD" of Cricket. He represented India for around 23 years. He made his debut in 1989 against Pakistan. In an ODI match against South Africa in 2010, he made his first double century, which was the first double ton by a male cricketer in cricket history. Sachin Tendulkar smashed all previous records to finish with a score of unbeaten 200 off 147 balls, studded with 25 fours and three sixes.
3. Virender Sehwag | India | 8th Dec 2011
Virender Sehwag was the most destructive batsman in limited-overs cricket for India, a player who changed the definition of opening an opener. He made his debut for India in 1999 against Pakistan. Virender Sehwag became the second male player in the history of ODI cricket to score a double century. Sehwag, went on to score 219 runs against the West Indies at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.
4. Rohit Sharma | India | 2nd Nov 2013
Rohit Sharma can be said, a perfect successor to Virender Sehwag. He made his ODI debut in 2007 against Ireland. Six years later, Rohit Sharma made his first double ton against Australia. He scored 209 in 158 deliveries by hitting 16 sixes & 12 fours. Rohit Sharma became the third male batsman to score a double ton in ODI cricket history.

5. Rohit Sharma | India | 13th Nov 2014
Rohit Sharma made his second ODI double ton in the very next year in 2014 against Sri Lanka. He became the first player in the history of ODI cricket to score two double centuries in one-day internationals. He scored 264 runs in 173 deliveries. This is the highest individual score in ODI cricket history.
6. Chris Gayle | West Indies | 24th Feb 2015
West Indies superstar and legend Chris Gayle was the first male cricketer to score an ODI double ton in the World Cup. The self-proclaimed "Universe Boss" became the first West Indian batter to score an ODI double century when he scored 215 in just 147 balls in the ICC World Cup 2015 pool B match against Zimbabwe in Canberra.
His 215-run inning is still the fourth-highest ODI score in an inning by any male cricketer.
7. Martin Guptil | New Zealand | 21st March 2015
Martin Guptil is one of the greatest batsmen in the History of New Zealand Cricket. He made his debut in one-day internationals in 2009 against West Indies. He made his double ton in the 2015 World Cup Quarter Final against West Indies & became the 5th male player to achieve that feat. It was as beautiful as it was brutal. A lone shark who fought against the whole West Indies side and scored an unbeaten 237 runs â the highest ever by any batsman in the World Cup.

8. Rohit Sharma | India | 13th Dec 2017
Rohit Sharma can be said The Brand Ambassador of Double Centuries. He made his third ODI double ton in 2017 against Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma scored 208* runs in 153 deliveries. He destroyed the Sri Lankan side onehandedly
9. Amelia Kerr | New Zealand | 13th June 2018
Amelia Kerr, one of the best all-rounders in Women's limited-overs Cricket, made her debut in One-day Internationals vs Pakistan in 2016. Since then, she was touted to be one of best young prospects of world cricket. Opening the innings In a match against Ireland, Amelia Kerr blasted her first ODI double ton at the age of only 17 years.
She scored an unbeaten 232 runs in just 145 balls by hitting 31 fours & 2 sixes and at just 17 years and 243 days old she became the youngest male or female cricketer to score a double ton in ODI cricket history. She is also the second female cricketer to achieve that.
10. Fakhar Zaman | Pakistan | 20th July 2018
Fakhar Zaman is one of the most elegant players in Pakistan cricket. He made his ODI debut in 2017 against South Africa. Zaman made his ODI double-ton in 2018 against Zimbabwe & became the sixth player to achieve that. He scored an unbeaten 210 runs in 156 deliveries.
He is the only Pakistan Cricket Player to achieve that feat in One-day Internationals.
11. Ishan Kishan | India | 10th Dec 2022
Ishan Kishan is a perfect example of an attacking Opener in limited-overs Cricket. He made his One-day Internationals debut for India against Sri Lanka in 2021. Opening the innings In a match against Bangladesh in 2022, Ishan Kishan scored his first double ton and at 24 years and 145 days old, he became the third youngest player (male or female) to achieve that milestone.
He scored 210 runs in just 131 balls by hitting 24 fours & 10 sixes. This was the fastest double century by a batsman in the history of cricket (126 balls).
12. Shubman Gill | India | 18th Jan 2023
Shubman Gill is making records for fun at this time. He made his ODI international debut for Indian Senior Cricket Team against New Zealand in 2019. Opening the Innings against the Kiwis in the first ODI on 18th Jan 2023, Gill scored his first ODI double ton and became the second youngest player male or female and the youngest male cricketer to achieve that milestone. He also completed his 1000 ODI runs in just 19 innings â the fastest ever by an Indian Batsman.
13. Glenn Maxwell | Australia | 7 November 2023
Although every double century in ODI cricket is a special one and worthy of remembering for a long time, Glenn Maxwell's double ton against Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup 2023 is perhaps the best and most memorable one.
Australia were 49/4 chasing 292 at Wankhede Stadium when Maxwell came to the rescue for them. However, he kept on losing partners from the other end. At 91/7, they were brink of losing against the Afghan team in front of a huge crowd in Mumbai. From then on, Maxwell kept on hitting huge sixes and played one of the memorable knocks of World Cup history with an unbeaten 201 in 128 balls to take the Aussies over the line. And eventually they went on to clinch the trophy as well.
For the record book, it was the first-ever ODI double ton scored in a chase, that too, in a successful chase. It was also the fastest double ton of ODI cricket history.
14. Pathum Nissanka | Sri Lanka | 9 February 2024
Pathum Nissanka became the lastest and first-ever Sri Lankan player (male or female) to score an ODI double ton. Nissanka, although was not known for his big hitting before this, but the Sri Lankan opener revamped himself to score the highest List-A score by any Sri Lankan male cricketer.
Nissanka took 136 balls to reach his milestone making it the third-fastest ODI double ton of history. He is also now the third youngest male cricketer to score an ODI double century at 25 years, and 267 days old.
