Both of them have played many crucial locks for the nation and have bought both the title and glory home. The left-hander scored an amazing 97 runs in just 81 balls against England which health India win the match. The former cricketer holds the record of being the fastest player to score 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 runs in ODI. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket on Wednesday. 38-year-old Rohit had already retired from T20I cricket. For now, he will continue to play for India in the ODI format and he is also the captain of Team India in this format. In November 2013, during Sachin Tendulkar's farewell series, Rohit Sharma made his Test debut at Eden Gardens in Kolkata against the West Indies, scoring 177, the second highest score in an Indian debut behind Shikhar Dhawan (187).
