Day 2 of the player transfer window goes very well for the Barisha Sporting Club and for all the Bengal cricket fans. On Friday, they signed Agniv Pan, Kanishk Seth, and Akash Deep for the upcoming 2022-23 season. Moreover, as we know Kanik Seth has experience playing in the IPL for KKR and CSK respectively.

The captain of the Barisha Sporting Club, Ritwik Roy Chowdhury opens up about the team's strength. He has also elaborated on winning trophies and plans for the next season.
"Representing Barisha Sporting is always a proud moment for me and everyone on the team. You know, how tough club cricket is and the standards are very high. So, we all are excited to go out there and perform."

Ritwik on winning trophies and plans for next season: "Look, you have to follow the process. We have been doing well and have been playing the knock-out matches too. But, somehow, when the situation demanded something extra, we could not pull that as a team. So, I feel, if we can make those crunch moment count, we will be winning trophies."
The skipper has also expressed his gratitude for getting Akash Deep into the squad.
"It is a pleasure to have him in the squad. He is an asset to any team he plays. I do not know about his availability throughout the season, but, I feel these will be a great opportunity for all the other youngsters in the team to learn from him".

Meanwhile, Agniv Pan also opened up after joining Barisha from Bhawanipur Club. He wants to bring the trophy luck to the team and on that note, he said the following.
"I have practiced at Barisha club for ten years. There is not any particular reason to leave Bhawanipore and join Barisha, but I hope I can bring the trophy luck and experience to the team after the success of last season."

On the same day, Bhawanipur Club signs the destructive opening pair of Vivek Singh and Avishek Das for the upcoming season. Moreover, they have also signed up their former player Writtick Chatterjee who previously used to play for the Bhawanipur Club.
Besides Writtick, Vivek, and Avishek, Bhawanipur Club has also signed Durgesh Dubey and Koushik Ghosh. However, rather than Barisha Sporting, Kalighat signed Debabrata Das, while Town Club signed Shreyan Chakrabarty.
