Indian women's cricket team's ace spinner Deepti Sharma took 6 wickets in the third and final ODI against West Indies in Vadodara on Friday. This was her third 5-wicket haul in ODIs. With this, Deepti has become the first Indian woman bowler to take a 5-wicket haul in ODI thrice.

Deepti took 6 wickets
Deepti Sharma took 6 wickets in her 10 overs giving 31 runs with an economy rate of 3.10. Meanwhile, she also gave 3 maiden overs. This experienced off-spinner took the wickets of West Indies' Shemaine Campbelle, Chinelle Henry, Zaida James, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, and Ashmini Munisar.
In front of her excellent bowling, the Caribbean team, batting first, was all out for 162 runs in 38.5 overs.
First Indian woman to take three fifers in ODI
Deepti Sharma has become the female bowler from India taking a maximum 5-wicket haul. She has left behind Jhulan Goswami, Neetu David, and Ekta Bisht in this matter as these Indian bowlers had taken fifers 2 times each.
Along with this, Deepti has become only the second bowler from India (both men and women) who has taken 6 wickets more than once. Apart from her, Ashish Nehra has done this.
