Gujarat Titans will host Kolkata Knight Riders in match no 63 of IPL 2024 on Monday, 13th May, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat. KKR have won 9 out of 11 matches they have played so far this season and are sitting at the top of the points table. The Titans are eighth in the points table with only five victories which is concerning as they were the runners-up last season and won the title in 2022 Indian Premier League title. They will be desperate to end the season on a positive note while KKR can secure their top spot with a victory so it is going to be an absolute cracker at Ahmedabad. From possible playing XIs to Dream11 team predictions, here is everything you need to know about the GT vs KKR match in IPL 2024.

Pitch & Weather Report
The pitch of the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad has changed a lot. It was a solid batting pitch but black soil has been used and now it helps the slower bowlers. Batters will have to score runs in the powerplay because, with the progression of the match, the wicket will get slower and tricky for batting. The average 1st innings total in T20 internationals is 160 while the 2nd innings total is 140.
The temperature will be around 38 degrees Celsius. Humidity of about 36 percent is expected but there is no chance of rain.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan opened in the previous game and both scored centuries. They are expected to open in the match against KKR too as GT haven't looked so good with their openers before the CSK game this season. David Miller, Shahrukh Khan, and Rahul Tewatia will handle the middle order with Matthew Wade on their side.

Rashid Khan has always been a trump card for GT. The Afghanistan spin wizard's four overs are always crucial as he can change the course of the game. Although Rashid conceded 38 runs against CSK, he returned with two important wickets. Noor Ahmed is another spinner, GT will bank upon.
He didn't have a good game last time but will be desperate to improve. Mohit Sharma finally looked like himself during the clash against Chennai. He scalped three wickets and will try to replicate the same against KKR too. Umesh Yadav is also expected to feature against his former franchise and he did bowl a good spell against CSK.

Kolkata Knight Riders
Kolkata Knight Riders are sitting at the top of the points table with 18 points. They have already secured their spot in the playoffs and now only fight to stay intact at the top. Phil Salt (461 runs) and Sunil Narine (435 runs) are having a sensational season at the top of the batting order. Both the openers have contributed immensely and have been the most important players for the Knight Riders this season. The duo is again starting for the Knight Riders on Monday and will try to continue their brilliant forms.

Shreyas Iyer is not having a great season with the bat. He hasn't been consistent but the others have covered him well and that's the reason KKR haven't faced lots of trouble this season. Venkatesh Iyer played a solid knock in the last game while Nitish Rana who was playing his first game of the season, also contributed with valuable runs.
Andre Russell hasn't played lots of big innings but has stepped up whenever KKR needed him. His cameos are very important for the Knights. Rinku Singh started with two sixes in the previous game but failed to contribute more than 20 runs. Ramandeep Singh played an important cameo against MI in the last game and those 17 valuable runs won KKR the game.

Mitchell Starc is finally proving somewhat of his worth. Although his economy is very poor, Starc has picked up 12 wickets in 11 matches. Harshit Rana has already scalped 16 wickets this season for KKR after featuring in only 10 games but he needs to work on his economy. He has leaked runs cheaply in some matches but he is only 22 years old and can improve a lot from here.
Varun Chakaravarthy has redeemed him in the last few matches by bowling some really good spells. He once again bowled an economical 4-over spell and returned with two wickets. Sunil Narine is just a different-level player. He is contributing with the bat and bowl which is the biggest positive for KKR this season.
In it, together. Until the very end! 🧿 https://t.co/KC0HLSY8s5
