It is no secret that Hanuma Vihari always wanted to play under Chandrakant Pandit. Chandrakant is a Successful domestic cricket coach who has won the Ranji Trophy with Mumbai, Vidarbha, and, most recently, with MP (2021-22). Hanuma is currently captaining South Zone in the Duleep Trophy. He has joined a team that has already star-studded players. It will be interesting to see how Hanuma will build a strong connection with the team.

Hanuma Vihari has played 16 matches for team India and in which, he has scored 839 runs at an average of 33.56. He hasn't been part of India's Test squad since July last year. Hanuma moved to Andhra Pradesh after making his debut for Hyderabad in 2015-16. He didn't have a brilliant domestic season the previous time as he managed just 490 runs in 14 innings with two half-centuries. Although the 29-year-old Indian batter has scored 8600 runs in 113 matches at an average of 53.41.
